The Itch

I've been itching to do something crafty/artsy/creative lately (besides cooking)... probably inspired by some fun blogs I've been checking out (www.inthefunlane.com also the blogs that are listed there). I think it would be so fun! And I'm still not feeling very settled in my home, nor do I really feel like it's mine. So maybe a project would help a little.

Yet, I hesitate because: a) the in-progress house projects aren't nearly finished, b) I really need to make sure I'm studying for licensure (which I've resumed full force), c) I need to be very careful about my budget, d) I have no idea where to start... or what to start with!

Any ideas?

I went to art village the other day and painted a coffee mug. Kept me occupied for a few hours and was very relaxing. You should try it. You could do a platter or something.
