Blizzard '09 Update

Well after spending literally hours outside working to remove the snow from my gianormous driveway, front stairs, front walk, and a path on the deck for the dogs (already part-filled in from the continuing snow), I'm finished.
I had some help from my neighbors at the end...in fact, they are still out there working, while I am finally inside, showered, fed, and slowly warming up. My head still hurts and now my body aches, unfortunately, but I've taken something and will hopefully soon be snuggled on my couch in a blanket fast asleep.

Blizzards are way more fun when you live in an apartment.

Good job. But I hate to be the bearer of bad news. This is the first one. Many more to go. Good Luck, Babe. You will survive. Love ya. Mom

Yup, that's my girl out there. You can see her little ears and nose behind Montey.

Did you use the snow blower? It is back breaking work, especially those first few dumps. Can't believe the first real one was so much. Is that a sign of things to come? Some would say so.

When it snows for us it takes pretty much all day as well. We do not have a snow blower and a HUGE driveway and patio.

Glad you were able to dig your way out. Hope you got to enjoy another snow day!

Yup, it was a combo of shovel and snow blower. I'm super-sore today. And no snow day for me today. I had to drive to work with some really bad drivers...but that is for another post. :-)
