Here's what I woke up to this morning (You can see Lilly in the yard, checkin' things out). Ugh. Doesn't look too different from this storm in December, does it? The puppies were so excited to go outside when we woke up, but boy did they get a rude awakening! It took only a few minutes before they were waiting to get back inside. Montey was so anxious to get in that he forgot the screen door is back on and boinged his head into it. He just sort of shook his head and looked at me.
Here's a couple more pics of my ride to work. The snow is heavy and sticky, so all the trees were pretty.
But not so pretty that I want it to stay around! I'm ready for the warmer weather predicted for the weekend!

Holy crap... you got a lot of snow! I walked out of my apartment building this morning and was confused as to why there appeared to be snow on people's windshields, but there was none on the ground! It sucks... where's that beautiful sunshine and warm air? Kim should have left this weather in North Dakota!
PS- Should you be taking pictures while you're driving?!
They were predicting snow for us too but all we got was COLD! We ended up turning the heat on last night. Not fun!
Thank goodness the warm weather is coming back tomorrow...
Enjoy your fluffy stuff....
I just love that pic from the '09 blizzard! Wish I could have been there to play in it!
The snow would have come from WY, it was beautiful in ND. But yes, that picture makes me sick too. Thankfully, today was a bright, sunny and dry day! Many, many more of them to come!
Technically, I was stopped when taking the pictures. The first light had just turned green when I clicked the pic and clearly the second light is red in the picture sooooo... I wasn't doing anything too dangerous. Besides, I knew y'all wouldn't believe me without those pics! The snow was nuts! And all darn day we dealt with these CRASHES and THUDS that shook everything and scared the crap out of us- the snow was falling from the high roof...right next to our "garden level" windows. Ugh.
