The Nesting Continues...

I managed to catch a few more pics of my feathery friends the other day. Apparently I've been in the right place at the right time...

One fine Spring day, Daddy Bird was doing his part to help with the daunting task of creating a home...nesting...preparing for his future family.

Mama Bird decided to rest on the patio for a few minutes. It was a fine day, after all, and she had been working so hard all day.

After a bit, she couldn't help but make sure Daddy was taking care of things. "Is everything still OK in there honey??? Can I help with anything?"

Mama Bird didn't wait very long before she was heard muttering, "He'd better not mess up all the work I've done today! I'd better take a closer look!" And with that, she hopped into the birdhouse.

Daddy Bird sighed heavily and decided it was better to wait outside. He knew better than to mess with a Mama-to-Be, her new home, and nesting. But he was OK with that. It's how he rolled.

The end.

Thanks, you guys! It's been fun getting Mama and Daddy Bird on "film"... I'm really hoping to catch a glimpse of the babies at some point. I guess we'll see.
