Paint Update...

Thanks for all of your thoughts and suggestions about my paint situation!

Right before I left for work this morning, I snapped a quick picture of a couple of my paint blobs. At least these look a little more grey! These are right near the window and it was bright and sunny this morning, so maybe just having a lot of natural light helped cut the yellow down. I don't know. I also took this picture using the "daylight" setting on my phone, so maybe that helped? This was closest to how it really looked on the wall this morning...

Hmm... this kind of looks like a Mark Rothko, doesn't it? I DO love his stuff, so maybe I should just build a frame around this and leave it there? Ha. :)

I didn't do any priming yet, but I still plan to this weekend. I really want to be sure my bedroom doesn't turn blue/purple in artificial light before I go and paint the whole darn thing. I'll keep you posted.

Happy weekend y'all!

i wish i had some more motivation... i would prime and paint some of my walls and ceilings! actually, i guess i should start by finishing unpacking and organizing the office/den/library, or whatever that room is.

Wow, you must've really wanted to say that...to say it three whole times. ;-)

It's taken me how long to "get motivation" to even think about changing the hateful yellow bedroom? You just moved into your house...you have lots of time!
